Paging Woody Allen...

From Nov. 3, 2015 CNN
Nino Esposito, a retired teacher, adopted his partner Roland "Drew" Bosee, a former freelance and technical writer, in 2012, after more than 40 years of being a couple.
Now, they're trying to undo the adoption to get married and a state trial court judge has rejected their request, saying his ability to annul adoptions is generally limited to instances of fraud.

University of Wisconsin Clearly Has More Money Than It Needs

From Campus Reform:
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is offering “voice feminization therapy” for male students claiming to be transgender women.

As part of the university’s “Transitioning at UWM” resource, the university encourages students to utilize “voice feminization therapy for male-to-female transgender clients” offered by the UWM Speech and Language Clinic, which claims to treat “voice disorders in adults and children.”

Elsewhere on the UWM website, the university claims voice feminization therapy is a “non-medical option” that allows transgender students to “live their gender identities.”

Michelle Johnson, the Media Content Manager at UWM, told Campus Reform that the school provides the voice feminization therapy “in compliance with nondiscrimination policies established by the university and the American Speech Language Hearing Association.”

The school also offers “gender therapy” for trans students at the UWM Norris Health Center and provides recommendations for students seeking “hormone therapy.”

The university also has over 50 “gender inclusive” restrooms on campus and guarantees students “the right” to use any bathroom they please. Transgender students are encouraged not to “feel limited to using gender inclusive ones alone.” Students using recreation center locker rooms are similarly encouraged to use whichever lockers rooms “align most with their gender identity and comfort levels.”

I Hope These Are Signs For 2016

From Nov. 4, 2015 Houston Chronicle:
Houston's controversial equal rights ordinance failed by a wide margin Tuesday, with voters opting to repeal the law that offered broad non-discrimination protections, according to incomplete and unofficial returns.

You will recall that opposition to the city council passing this measure led to a judge issuing subpoenas for pastor's sermons a while back. If the homofascists can lose in Houston, the would probably lose a popular vote in Idaho.

The billionaire effort to pass gun control in Virginia suffered a major defeat:
Virginia Republicans look set to hold onto their Senate majority in the Old Dominion, amid aggressive campaigning by Democrat Gov. Terry McAuliffe.

It is a big defeat for McAuliffe, a close ally for Hillary Clinton, and a big defeat for New York billionaire Mike Bloomberg, who donated heavily to Democrats in the hope of winning the Virginia electoral fights on a promise of more gun-control.

Republicans beat back two serious challengers Tuesday, holding onto seats in the suburbs of Richmond and the Hampton Roads area.

In another hotly contested race, Republican Hal Parrish holds a lead over Democrat Jerry McPike. If Parrish holds onto his lead, it would represent a Republican gain, as the two are battling to replace a retiring Democrat.

McAuliffe, with considerable help from Bloomberg, bet his political capital on Democrats winning the upper Chamber. But he seems to have fallen far short.

And while I think the Coos Bay measure is going to lose in court, I was pleased to see it easily pass.

Coos County voters approved a "Second Amendment Preservation Measure" Tuesday that would bar the enforcement of certain types of gun restrictions and allow the sheriff to determine which state and federal gun laws are unconstitutional.

Nearly complete results show the measure passing with more than 60 percent of voters in favor.

Another Homosexual Discusses Her Childhood Sexual Abuse

Margaret Cho "who has spoken openly about both her heterosexual and homosexual relationships..."   is now talking about the abuse she suffered as a child.  From Oct. 14, 2015 People:
Growing up in San Francisco, the comedian, 46, endured years of abuse at the hands of a family friend who molested her for more than seven years, beginning when she was just 5 years old. At 14, she was raped by a different acquaintance.

No Wonder California Is In Financial Trouble

Oct. 21, 2015 AP reports:

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) -- California prison officials have set the first standards in the nation for determining when transgender inmates should receive state-funded sex-reassignment surgery - a move that came after it spent years in court fighting to block the operations.

Under the policy that took effect Tuesday, prison mental health professionals would refer inmates for the surgery.

To qualify, prisoners must be diagnosed with what is formally known as gender dysphoria; lived as a member of the preferred gender for at least 12 months; and expressed a desire for sex-reassignment surgery for at least two years....

Hayhoe said those prohibitions will help hold down the cost to taxpayers. She previously estimated the cost of full transgender procedures could approach $100,000, though the Transgender Law Center said that is exaggerated.

"I don't think it's a proper use of taxpayer money," said Kent Scheidegger, legal director at the Sacramento-based Criminal Justice Legal Foundation that represents crime victims. "This is basically an elective procedure. I mean, you're surgically altering body parts which have nothing wrong with them because the person has a psychological issue."

When are they going to start doing species-reassignment surgery?

Another Fake Hate Crime

From WDAZ in North Dakota:
A man who claimed he was the victim of a hate crime at a UND fraternity made the story up according to investigators.

Police actually said he should face charges for making up the allegations, but prosecutors say they won’t.

"It's a very relief for everyone," said Eric Hanson, a member of Lambda Chi Alpha

That's the feeling inside the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity house after the Grand Forks County State's Attorney decided there was no evidence to support allegations of a hate crime....

During the month long investigation, which included identifying 150 potential witnesses, police determined Gisvold was not the victim of an assault or the victim of anti-gay slurs. There was a physical altercation, but police determined Gisvold instigated it.

“Throughout the investigation we looked at many different angles and many different things and we uncovered some of those details,” said Sergeant Dan Weigel with the University Police Department.
Gisvold's reports were so bogus; investigators recommended charging him with providing false information to police. However, county prosecutor David Jones decided not to file charges against Gisvold. He declined our request for an interview, but provided a written statement.
One of the reasons that I started blogging these fake hate crimes is because they are very common and are used by gay activists to build sympathy for their fascist movement.  There are real hate crimes out there, but there are so many fakes that I generally assume fraud until real evidence comes forward.  Matthew Shepard is certainly the gold standard.  See this site for a collection.

Pleased to See the Church Take Action

From Oct. 6, 2015 International Business Times:
An Italian priest has been suspended from his parish after defending paedophilia on live television and attempting to blame victims for "seeking affection". Don Gino Flaim, of the San Giuseppe and Pio X parish in the northern Italian town of Trento, claimed on air that he "understands paedophilia" whereas "I'm not sure about homosexuality".

Not sure?

"Unfortunately there are children who seek affection because they don't receive it at home and I understand that some priests can give up," he said on La7 channel. "Paedophilia is a sin, and like all sins has to be accepted, also." He went on affirming that homosexuality "is a disease"....

Days before the key meeting of 300 church leaders, Poland-born Vatican priest Krzysztof Charamsa announced he was in a gay relationship, saying he wanted to challenge the institution's "backward" attitude to homosexuality.

Where Are The Lawsuits?

Seattle has prosecuted businesses not interested in gay weddings.  So what is going to happen with this?
If it's illegal and considered racist for a white, straight business owner to deny service to a gay person or person of color, shouldn't the same be true for a yoga class that bars white people from attending? KIRO Radio's Dori Monson thinks so.

Rainier Beach Yoga in Seattle has a class called "yoga for people of color." It started last week and runs once a month.

Teresa Wang, co-founder of the specialized class, said it was started by five queer people of color who came together to create a safe space for people of color who might otherwise be uncomfortable.
An email blast about the class says it's aimed at people of color and of all sexualities, ages, body sizes, abilities, genders, and experience with yoga. It specifically identifies "lesbian, bisexual, gay, queer and trans-friendly/affirming," plus people who self-identify as "African American/black/of the African Diaspora, Asian, South Asian, West Asian/Arab/Middle Eastern, Pacific Islander, First Nations/Alaskan Native/Native American/Indigenous, Chican/Latin, or Multiracial/Mixed-Race." The email adds that "white friends, allies and partners are respectfully asked not to attend."

“White friends, allies and partners are respectfully asked not to attend,” the email, which the radio host says was also sent to him by the listener, specifically states.
Yup.  Anti-discrimination laws are popular with the left for the benefit of gays, but they really don't apply generally.

Reality Bites

From Oct. 8, 2015 Daily Wire:
The administration at the University of Toronto was recently enlightened on why two separate washrooms are generally established for men and women sharing co-ed residencies.

The University is temporarily changing its policy on gender-neutral bathrooms after two separate incidents of "voyeurism" were reported on campus September 15 and 19. Male students within the University’s Whitney Hall student residence were caught holding their cellphones over female students’ shower stalls and filming them as they showered.

Melinda Scott, dean of students at the University of Toronto, told The Daily Wire that campus police had been contacted immediately and worked with residence staff to “support impacted students and ensure the safety of the Residences.”
Who would have guessed there would be a problem?

When Psychologists Indulge Mental Illness

Channel 5 KFSM reports on a way who wanted to be blind and now is:
RALEIGH, N.C. — A North Carolina woman says she is happier than ever after fulfilling her lifelong wish of becoming blind.

Jewel Shuping, 30, has Body Integrity Identity Disorder, which is a condition where able-bodied people believe they are meant to be disabled, according to Barcroft TV.

Shuping said that her fascination with blindness began when she was about 6 years old.

“By the time I was 6 I remember that thinking about being blind made me feel comfortable,” she told Barcroft TV....

In 2006, Shuping found a psychologist who was willing to help her become blind. The psychologist began putting numbing drops in her eyes, followed by a couple of drops of drain cleaner.

“It hurt, let me tell you. My eyes were screaming and I had some drain cleaner going down my cheek burning my skin,” she told Barcroft TV. “But all I could think was ‘I am going blind, it is going to be okay.'”

It took about half a year for the damage to take effect....

“I really feel this is the way I was supposed to be born, that I should have been blind from birth,” Shuping said. “When there’s nobody around you who feels the same way, you start to think that you’re crazy. But I don’t think I’m crazy, I just have a disorder.”

Like being transgendered.  Why would a psychologist not lose his license to practice for this?

Just Finished Reading

The Secret Thoughts of an Unlikely Convert: Rosaria Champagne was a lesbian English professor who started studying the Religious Right, and as she asked questions of a Christian pastor, became a Christian.  Then straight!  See her list of publications from her lesbian days.  She left the academy where ideas like hers were outside the realm of respectable thought, went to teach at a seminary, married a pastor, and wrote this astonishingly thoughtful book!  Getting past the first chapter was too hard for my wife, mostly because it reminded her of many of  her English professors from college.

More Signs of What's Next

Salon, the essence of online progressive thought explains that pedophilia is a sexual orientation:
The Discovery of an Alternate Sexuality:

Many gays begin to recognize their sexual preferences sometime around puberty, if not before.  For me it was the same.  I was about 12 when the first inklings of a sexual preference bubbled up in me, though at the time I thought little of it.  As I turned 13 it occurred to me that what I initially took as a phase had begun to solidify into something more troubling.  Even so, at this point I could still convince myself that I was within the realm of normalcy.  Then something happened that all but removed my ability to continue this self-denial: my Eureka Moment.

One day, as I was sketching in my grandparents’ living room, a neighbor of theirs came to visit with his seven-year-old daughter in tow.  At first I hadn’t noticed her because she was quiet.  I only heard my grandpa and his neighbor chatting in the kitchen while I sketched.  Soon the little girl walked into the dining room and stood at the archway entrance to the living room, watching me draw.  I can still see her today in my mind’s eye: dressed in blue jeans and a nearly matching denim jacket, with pristine blue eyes and a halo of wispy blond curls framing her face.  She seemed somehow larger than life and almost ancient in the way she stood so perfectly still.  Then, just like that, she was gone; she and her father left.  That singular moment, though it could scarcely have lasted more than a few minutes, has become seared into my memory.

Bend Over America

The Daily Beast reports on the nearly insane devotion that wealthy gay white men are showing for Hilary Clinton, in spite of her astonishingly poor history.
To me, there’s one T-shirt that says all you need to know about Clinton’s gay male base: I’d Bottom for Hillary.

Lying prostrate, face down in the pillow: Is there a better analogy (pun intended) for the gay Hillary Clinton supporter these days?

It's an apt description.  America, bend over, Hilary is wearing her strap-on!
