It's a controversial narrative, centred on an attractive middle-school teacher in Florida, who unrepentantly recounts her elaborate and determined seduction of a 14-year-old student. Complications proceeds from this, including her being apprehended. She's treated with lenience, as if female pedophilia conceived differently in society, with its general abhorrence of such.

Bryen puts the spotlight on a few films that are part of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) which takes over our city for the next couple of weeks. We begin with a film that is currently in production, and chosen to be part of TIFF’s Industry Programming, called “Tempest Storm: Burlesque Queen” (Dir: Nimisha Mukerji and Kaitlyn Regehr). We then chat with Jasmine Mazafarri about her debut short feature called “Firecrackers”, screening as part of the Student Film Showcase, focused around two small town teenagers. Next we’ll hear about the homoerotic short “Nefandus”, directed by Carlos Motta, and “The Dog” directed by Allison Berg and Frank Keraudren, about the life of the late John Wojtowicz, which was the real-life inspiration for the classic Al Pacino film "Dog Day Afternoon".

Dorianne speaks with Jeremy Lalonde about his short film OUT, which is screening in the Toronto International Film Festival about a young man whose parents are prepared to hear that he's gay, but that’s not really what he’s coming out as. We also learn all about the International Fetish Film Festival - Toronto, opening August 29th at the Big Picture Cinema from one of the organizers, Domme Goddess Pamela. And we talk to Yulia Petrauskas about her documentary Da Kink In My Lair - A Day In The Life Of A Dom, which she wrote, directed, produced, and starred.

SK Chairwoman Fucked by Barangay Tanod

The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) or youth council is the governing body of the youth assembly or Katipunan ng Kabataan of every barangay in the Philippines. They are elected by the members of, the Katipunan ng Kabataan in elections conducted by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC). They initiate policies, programs and projects for the development of youth in their respective political territories. The Chairman/President of the Sangguniang Kabataan acts as the Chief Executive of the Sanggunian (Council) while the Kagawad (Councilor) as the legislative council. The Kagawads approve resolutions of the Sanggunian and appropriates the money allotted to the council, a share in the revenue of the Barangay.

A Barangay Tanod is a local volunteer who has been deputised and received some training to be a Tanod. They carry out basic security functions under the auspice of the Barangay Captain for their barangay.

This is likely to include basic police functions from arrests, traffic control, keeping the police although the post is quite flexible dependent on the context of the barangay in which they work.

Although they do not tend to carry firearms but sometimes they do, on occasion without a license and therefore are unlikely to have training in it. More often they will be armed with a baton, often made of rattan.

Jon welcomes acclaimed pornographer Courtney Trouble back to the show and she tells us about her latest, Lesbian Curves 2: Hard Femme. Jon was also joined by Toronto's Poet Laureate, award-winning writer George Elliot Clarke who will tell about his latest collection, Illicit Sonnets. As well, Mirra Kardonne, the creator of an intriguing photo series called Depicted in Human Form: Photographing Objectification in Sex tells us about her work.
