Louise discusses aspects of the poetry in The Ravenous Audience and Kept Women, with their author Kate Durbin. Her poetics considers the sexual and feminine with violent tones. Durbin draws from fairytale, folklore and cinema, including dimensions around Gretel, Marilyn Monroe, Clara Bow and the work of Catherine Breillat. Kept Women in its twelve pages, traces qualities in each of the rooms of the Playboy Mansion, such as its advertising, lifestyle clutter, along erotic paths the space embeds.
