Louise reaches Leigh Eric Schmidt, the author of Heaven's Bride (Basic Books). The narrative brings to light, the compelling life of the late victorian sexologist, scholar and mystic, Ida C. Craddock. Starting from a frank defense of bellydancing, she went on to develop marital pamphlets, exploring aspects of genital anatomy, companionate and sacral dimensions of pleasure, with emphasis on women's rights and feelings in sexual matters. Craddock's assertion that she had a marital bond with a spirit called Soph was most startling. She was arrested and tried repeatedly on obscenity charges, in challenging taboos that limited women's lives.

She discusses making raunchy cakes with Barbara Accogli from CakeStar and talks to MataLeao who is doing an event at Subspace on neck bondage on July 16th. She also learns about the Sex, Safety and Security study, being run by Chris Atchison, which is surveying clients of sex worker to better understand their attitudes, beliefs and experiences.
